Yes. The full collaborative trip planner, AI itinerary parsing, expense splitting and offline access are free on iOS and Android. A premium plan with advanced AI suggestions and unlimited trips is on the roadmap.
How does the AI itinerary work?
Paste a booking email, drop a PDF voucher, or upload a CSV. TripLinq extracts flights, hotels, activities and transfers — with their dates, times, locations and prices — and slots them into the right day of your trip. You stay in control: review before applying.
Can I use it offline?
Your full itinerary, vouchers, saved place links and notes are cached on-device. We don't ship an in-app map — instead every place you save opens straight in Google Maps or Apple Maps, so you keep the navigation app you already trust. Edits made offline sync the moment you're back online.
Can different people have different permissions?
Yes — invite buddies as viewers or editors. Items can be private (only you) or shared. The trip owner can adjust permissions anytime.
How does expense splitting work across currencies?
Add expenses in any of 50+ currencies. TripLinq converts using a snapshot rate so settlements stay stable. Split equally, by share, or by exact amount. The settlement engine collapses everything into the fewest possible transfers.
Is my trip data secure?
Trips are end-to-end encrypted between the people you invite. We never sell data and there are no ads. You can export everything as PDF or CSV anytime.
Does it work with my existing booking sites?
Forward confirmation emails from any provider — airlines, hotels, Airbnb, Booking.com, GetYourGuide, Viator, train operators — and TripLinq parses them automatically.
